Refund Policy

At ScoreKit, we are committed to providing a transparent, reliable service for game developers. Because we provide immediate access to cloud infrastructure, database storage, and edge networking resources the moment a subscription is activated, our refund policy is strict to prevent abuse.

1. The Free Tier Guarantee

We offer a fully functional Free (Trial) Tier to allow all developers to test our SDK, verify our API endpoints, and ensure ScoreKit is the right fit for their game before spending any money. We highly encourage utilizing this tier to validate your project's architecture before upgrading.

2. Non-Refundable Digital Services

Due to the nature of our cloud computing resources, all payments for digital subscription charges are non-refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds or credits for partially used billing periods.

3. Cancellations and Downgrades

You maintain full control over your billing directly from your developer dashboard.

  • How to Cancel: You may downgrade your account to the Free tier at any time by navigating to Dashboard > Billing.
  • Active Access: Upon cancelling or downgrading, you will retain full access to your premium features and higher API limits until the end of your currently paid billing cycle.
  • Data Retention Warning: Please note that downgrading to the Free tier will subject your account to the 30-Day Data Retention limit. Any historical data older than 30 days may be permanently purged following your downgrade date.

4. Disputed Charges and Merchant of Record

Our payments are securely handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. If you believe your card was charged fraudulently or in error (e.g., duplicate charges due to a system glitch), please reach out to us immediately so we can investigate and correct the error with Paddle.
